Luchadores Score Late to Upend Hornets, 3-2

The Royal Grounds played host to some dramatic action.
Both offenses were relatively subdued at The Royal Grounds. Fortunately for the Mexico City Luchadores, though, Kevin Knox was able to deliver in the clutch. He was 3-3 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once, to lead his team past the Eureka Hornets, 3-2. Mexico City, at 49-58, holds down 4th place in the Roberto Clemente League International Division.
Mexico City got a clutch hit from Gary Greenlaw. The shortstop launched a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.
"This place sure got loud," said Tewolde Ojo, the Mexico City manager.
