The Quebec Armada picked up a win at Lucky 7 Ballpark, knocking off the Havana Stogies, 8-3. Starting pitcher David McPhail was a big reason why. The third-place Armada have won 4 in a row.

Chris Allison hit a 2-run double off Franklin Cruz in the bottom of the second, which put the Armada in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Allison had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"David pumped strikes and he made good pitches when he had to," said Quebec manager Ramu Pavi.
