Mounties Beaten By Ridge Runners, 6-3

The rain came, as predicted, but the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners and Montreal Mounties were able to complete their ballgame.
The Eagle Rock Ridge Runners beat the Montreal Mounties, 6-3, at Ozark Mountain Stadium. The Ridge Runners got a fine performance from second baseman Carl Farley, who was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times. Bryan Young closed the door for Eagle Rock, picking up his 5th save of the year.
Jon Pyne helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-0, Ridge Runners.
Said Montreal manager Julián Martínez: "They just got the better of us."
With the win, Eagle Rock improves its record to 6-4.
