Buffalo left fielder Cliff Millar was sensational. He was 2-3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while adding 8 RBI and scoring once. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Maple beat the Bison, 10-9, in 10 innings. The win went to Ron Elliott in relief. His record improves to 3-2. D.J. Handrahan took the loss. Maple is now 43-55, Buffalo 47-50.

The decisive blow was delivered by Travis Arant in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a solo home run off 25-year old left-handed pitcher D.J. Handrahan to win the game for Maple. The home crowd went nuts.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said Buffalo manager Jon Green.
