Puente Good, But Not Good Enough, in 17-13 Loss
The Eureka Hornets overcame a pretty good performance by Quebec shortstop Fernando Puente, beating the Armada, 17-13, at Lucky 7 Ballpark. Puente went 4 for 4 with 4 singles and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. The winner in relief was Sebastian Raymond. He is now 3-0. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. With this game in the books, Eureka is 50-45, Quebec 44-51.
