Gaudet Lifts Bison to 9-5 Win
At Millennium Field, the Chicago Eclipse and Buffalo Bison were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Buffalo Bison defeated the Chicago Eclipse by the score of 9-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman Connor Gaudet. Gaudet slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Bison on the day. The first-place Bison have a one-game lead in their division.

With Buffalo leading 3-0 in the top of the second, Gaudet hit a changeup from Jesse Hemmelgarn for a grand slam home run. It was his 26th home run of the season and put the Bison ahead, 7-0.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Buffalo manager Jon Green.
