Jepsen, Savannah Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
In a well-pitched game between the Savannah Peaches and the Thunder Bay Lighting, pitcher Andy Jepsen was fantastic. The Savannah right-hander helped his team secure the win, 1-0. At 57-31, the Peaches are currently second in the TML R Otto Velez Division.

The standout performance belonged to 18-year-old Jepsen. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Peaches. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the Lighting, striking out 8 and scattering 2 hits over 7.2 innings. Jepsen is now 2-2 on the season.

"Some games build character," said Savannah manager David Flecha. "Like this one."
