Islanders Suffer 9-3 Loss to Frobisher Bay
The home crowd came to cheer on their first-place Frobisher Bay Caribou.

Frobisher Bay right fielder Oscar Olivo helped his team beat the Coronado Islanders, 9-3. Olivo, who is tied for 9th in the RR in home runs with 17, went 3 for 4 for the Caribou. The win boosts the Caribou to 67-22. The loss puts the Islanders at 48-41.

Lachlan Hutchence was 1-4 with a walk for Frobisher Bay. The 18-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Edgar Portillo. It was his 16th walk of the season.

"I just tried to put the barrel on it," said Olivo.
