The Houghton Gremlins routed the Huntington Station Ramrods, 12-1, at Station Center Yard. Tom Patterson was one of the hitting stars. He was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 4 for Houghton. The win went to Brad Pecore in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Brent Martin took the loss. By defeating Huntington Station, the second-place Gremlins improved to 45-34.

Houghton used a well-timed hit by Josh Neuner to capture the win. The first baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Gremlins ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

Huntington Station manager Paco Berroa called the pummeling "nothing to write home about."
