8-7 Caribbean Loss Tarnishes Hurt's Fine Effort
Caribbean catcher Brian Hurt had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Hurt was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 6 runs and scored once, even as Savannah beat the Commies, 8-7. Savannah leads the TML R Otto Velez Division by 4 games.
