Crawfish Speller Has 18 Ks Friday, September 5th , 2064 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Xavier Speller, the Victory Lakes Crawfish topped the Bloomington Hoosiers by a score of 2-0 at Crawfish Grounds. The 22-year-old Speller brought his top game to the mound, striking out 18 batters while allowing 3 hits and giving up 6 walks. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Hoosiers manager Matthew Buchanan said. "He made some of our guys look bad.
