5-Hit Blitz by Pardy Thursday, September 4th , 2064 It seemed that Thunder Bay center fielder Chandler Pardy could do no wrong as the Lighting KO'd the Cougars, 19-2. Pardy rapped out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Cougars hurlers were throwing. "I think the Lighting were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Prince George fan after the game. "I felt good. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Pardy in the postgame press interview. Chandler Pardy grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, walked in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
