Season-Ending Injury for Miguel Lizardo Saturday, August 2nd , 2064 The season is finished for Miguel Lizardo of the Coronado Islanders. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Islanders starting pitcher suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Sedona Sabercats. Team doctors said it would take at least 7-8 months to heal. This year, Lizardo has no wins and no losses and a 4.91 ERA. |
