Toohey Stretches Hit String to 20 Tuesday, June 10th , 2064 The Easton Caterpillars fell to the Montreal Cardinals in Denis Coderre Stadium, even as 21-year-old catcher Ben Toohey upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Toohey finished with 2 hits in 6 at-bats, but could not stop the Caterpillars from dropping the 16-5 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Toohey. Ben Toohey grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 7th, flied out in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.
