Ramos Sensational, 5-for-7

Montreal first baseman Mike Ramos had a big day at The Storm Center against the Wichita Storm. The 21-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-7 and led to the 25-11 Cardinals triumph over Wichita.
"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Ramos said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."
Mike Ramos hit an RBI single in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
Ramos is hitting .371 this season with 10 home runs, 59 RBIs and 35 runs scored. He has 52 hits in 140 at-bats.
