Cain Grabs TR Reliever of the Year Award Wednesday, October 17th , 2063 Allen Cain was a calming influence out of the Yuma Varmits bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 20-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the TML R Reliever of the Year Award for 2063. The Salina, Kansas native won the award with 22 saves in 35 relief appearances, 57 strikeouts in 38.2 innings and a record of 3-4 to go with his 0.93 ERA. He received 27 first place votes out of a possible 28. Mike LaRiviere of the Carrollton Rangers finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Bobby Serrano of the Rosewell Tribbles finished third.
