Montreal Wins League Championship Series Saturday, September 22nd , 2063 The Montreal Cardinals outclassed the Rosewell Tribbles in all facets of the game throughout the TR League Championship Series. The end result was a Montreal series sweep to advance to the Rookie League Championship, capped off by a 13-4 win in the final game. "We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said second baseman David Nieves, who hit .571 in the series. Nieves's standout effort garnered him MVP honors.
