5-Hit Barrage by Najera Saturday, September 22nd , 2063 Alex Najera exploded for a barrage of base hits at Denis Coderre Stadium. The Montreal center fielder had a field day in his team's 13-4 triumph over the Rosewell Tribbles, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Najera must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Alex Najera singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th and singled in the 8th.
