Coronado's Goodpaster to Miss Season Wednesday, September 5th , 2063 Mike Goodpaster will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Coronado second baseman could miss the remainder of the year. Goodpaster was injured while running the bases in the Islanders-Tribbles clash at Classified Field recently. Doctors said he has a ruptured achilles tendon and would be out a minimum of 4-5 months. In 49 games this season, Goodpaster has compiled a .243 batting average with 35 hits and 5 home runs. He has also scored 25 times and knocked in 16 runs. |
