Commies Pitching Ravaged by Whitmore Sunday, August 19th , 2063 Jaheim Whitmore was unstoppable, but the Sylva Miners were not. Despite his hitting heroics at Castro Field, the Miners lost, 11-10, to the Caribbean Commies. Whitmore battered Caribbean for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His only consolation will be a boost in his batting average and a brief mention in the record book. Whitmore just shook his head after the game, telling BNN reporters, "It's the team with the most runs that wins, not the most hits." Jaheim Whitmore hit a two-run home run off Sal Penalosa in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
