Sourbeer Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Saturday, August 18th , 2063 The hot bat of Tribbles first baseman Josh Sourbeer continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 2-for-5 in today's 6-3 loss to the Timbers at The Cove. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Josh Sourbeer singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. To date Sourbeer has chalked up a .418 average with 18 home runs, driven in 73 runs and scored 69 times. |
