Tribbles Ramsey Strikes out 17 Rangers Monday, July 24th , 2062 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Mitch Ramsey, the Rosewell Tribbles topped the Carrollton Rangers by a score of 11-2 at Classified Field. The 19-year-old Ramsey brought his top game to the mound, striking out 17 batters while allowing 4 hits and giving up 2 walks. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Rangers manager Hung-chang Chao said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." Ramsey has taken the mound for no relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 7-0 record with a 1.78 ERA.
