Valadez Will Sit Out 2 Games, Suspended by League Monday, July 3rd , 2062 A press release issued by the league stated that Scorpions center fielder Moises Valadez was suspended for "confronting a game official" after yesterday's Scottsdale-Manchester at Scottsdale Stadium. In the statement the league said, "This is totally unacceptable behavior and will be dealt with harshly." Valadez had a run-in with the home plate umpire during the game and was ejected for vehemently objecting to a third strike. On the year, Valadez has hit .235 with 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and scored 7 runs. |
