Snook Named 2061 TR Most Valuable Player Award Winner
Saturday, October 22nd , 2061
At the age of 21, Nathan Snook of the Rosewell Tribbles could very well have his best years ahead of him.
It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2061 was good enough to win the catcher the TML R Most Valuable Player Award.
"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."
The top hitter put up a .384 batting average this year, as well as a .529 on-base percentage. He played 64 games and racked up 88 hits, 11 doubles, no triples, 21 home runs, 79 RBIs and 62 runs scored.
He received 16 first place votes out of a possible 28. David Kulhanek of the Savannah Peaches finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Jim Woodland of the Montreal Cardinals finished third with 1 first place vote.
