RR Announces Cy Young Award Friday, October 21st , 2061 It was as good as money in the bank when Garry Fairn took the hill for Frobisher Bay. He paid his club back with interest this season with a superb 13-2 mark, collecting the RCL R Cy Young Award for 2061. The Caribou star delighted the hometown fans with a fine 2.20 ERA and 209 strikeouts in 135 innings. Fairn surrendered 98 hits and 29 walks and limited opposing batters to a .203 batting average. He received 28 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Chris Adair of the Sylva Miners finished second in voting, while Chris Dickman of the Frobisher Bay Caribou finished third.
