Superb Year for Rocha, Wins Most Valuable Player Award

Alex Rocha of the Barnwell Warhorses had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2062.

The 17-year-old catcher put up a .465 average and a .517 on-base percentage, piling up 134 hits, 22 doubles, 1 triple, 39 home runs, 110 RBIs and 94 runs scored.

He received 20 first place votes out of a possible 24. Jason Hicks of the Pleasantville Panthers finished second in voting, while John Keeling of the Carl Albert Titans finished third.
