PRLL's #1 Batter Announced Thursday, June 1st , 2062 Brian Carr may be much younger than other hitters in the Pete Rose Little League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in May to win the Batter of the Month award. The 17-year-old Santa Clara second baseman hit .481 with 10 home runs, 29 RBIs and 28 runs scored. This year, Carr has collected a .365 batting average to date with 96 hits in 263 at-bats, 80 RBIs, 23 home runs and scored 98 times. He has played in 61 games. |
