The postseason race came down to the final days of the season, but in the end Santa Clara has outlasted division rivals to claim the top spot, for the 9th time in franchise history. "We want to bring the 3rd Little League World Series to Santa Clara. For our fans, our players, our coaches, our city, that's what it's all about," said an excited Brian Carr.
