Year Ends for Ronnie Walker in Topeka West Monday, May 15th , 2062 Ronnie Walker is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Topeka West organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 4-5 months with an arthritic elbow. The 16-year-old reliever suffered the injury throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Canby Lancers. This season, Walker has picked up no saves and posted a 2-0 record with a 14.06 ERA. He has 12 relief appearances, tossed 16 innings and struck out 18. |
