Shane Davis discovered that today at Apollos Ballpark, as he smashed three home runs during the 16-14 Riverside Poly win over the Kearny High Cardinals. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Riverside third baseman said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Davis, who is tied for 2nd in the HALL in triples with 4, finished the day with 4 hits in 5 at-bats and 10 RBIs. Shane Davis struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jason Bomar in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Joe Neeley in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Randy Reynolds in the 8th.
