Red-Hot Carr Scorches Panthers Saturday, May 6th , 2062 Brian Carr had an answer for everything the Derby Panthers threw at him at River Otters Ballpark. The Santa Clara second baseman went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Vampires a win, 12-2. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Carr said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Brian Carr hit a solo-shot off Jason Walters in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Dorian Franklin in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
