37 Games in a Row for Rocha Saturday, May 6th , 2062 Alex Rocha ran his hitting streak to 37 straight games at Batfish Ballpark, when he collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Barnwell Warhorses dropped the game, 10-3, to the Pitman High Panthers. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Rocha said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Alex Rocha singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th. In the current season, Rocha has put up a .488 batting average with 119 hits, 36 home runs, 98 RBI and scored 82 runs. |
