Kittrell Booms 3 out of the Park Thursday, May 4th , 2062 Tioga Central center fielder Chris Kittrell blasted three homers at Ballpark of Villahermosa HS in the 22-9 Tigers victory over the Canby Lancers. For the game, Chris Kittrell scored 4 times and knocked in 9 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Kittrell when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-6, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Kittrell told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Chris Kittrell flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jeremy Remington in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off John Galloway in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Joe Fugate in the 6th, walked in the 8th and struck out in the 9th. Kittrell has collected 74 hits for the Tigers this year, 25 of them home runs. He has also netted 87 RBIs and scored 64 runs while batting .374. |
