League Gives Higgins and de Jesus 4-Game Suspensions Wednesday, May 3rd , 2062 There was a heated confrontation yesterday at Managua HS Grounds between the Chargers and Panthers that resulted in ejections and suspensions. Justin Higgins of Topeka West and Andres de Jesus of Derby were issued 4-game suspensions by the league office for initiating the on-field disturbance. This season, Higgins is batting .358 with 20 home runs. His totals include 72 RBIs and 66 runs scored. This season, de Jesus has made 18 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 1-0 won-lost mark and a 9.28 ERA. In pitching 32 innings, he has totaled 44 strikeouts and 20 walks. |
