Nunley's Season Could be Over Saturday, April 8th , 2062 The Derby Panthers were dealt a severe blow when Taylor Nunley was hurt colliding with a player at a base recently in a game against the Tioga Central Tigers. After the game, the team trainer reported Nunley might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 17-year-old right fielder out for the rest of the season with a torn meniscus. They indicated it would take Nunley at least 3 months to heal. Nunley is currently hitting .393 with 8 home runsand 16 RBIs, while scoring 16 runs. |
