PRLL Relief Ace Connors Named Best Hurler Saturday, April 1st , 2062 In March, the top-rated pitcher in the Pete Rose Little League was a reliever. It's not a common occurrence, but it does happen occasionally. The Montreal Cardinals fine hurler, John Connors stood out so much that he was picked the best Pitcher of the Month by the Pete Rose Little League. The Cardinals bullpen ace was brilliant with 6 saves in 10 relief appearances, a 1-2 won-lost mark and 2.70 ERA. He worked 10 innings, allowed 5 hits, struck out 13 and walked 6. |
