Nunn Keeps Hit Streak Alive Monday, March 13th , 2062 Downsview third baseman Tony Nunn has extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with a 2-for-3 day. However, the Topeka West Chargers seized the 16-10 victory over the Mustangs at Breakers Ballpark. "Disappointing," Nunn said of the outcome. Tony Nunn walked in the 1st, hit a sac fly in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Ronnie Walker in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Casey Edmiston in the 9th. Currently Nunn is batting .423 with 11 hits and 2 home runs. He has knocked in 7 runs and scored 10 times. |
