Waldrep Decides on Football Career, Passes on Baseball Monday, November 7th , 2061 Billings West multi-sport star Blake Waldrep has decided to discontinue his baseball career and focus full-time on his football career. Despite his love of baseball, Waldrep says he likes his prospects on the gridiron better than the diamond. "It was a tough decision, but I think this is the right one for me," said the Golden Bears left fielder. Waldrep, considered to be a standout defensive end, is projected as a late 1st or 2nd round pick in the upcoming NFL draft. |
