Outlaws Come up Short of Playoffs Thursday, April 13th , 2062 Calgary Outlaws shortstop Harris Russell said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 2062 postseason contention. The Outlaws have made the playoffs 21 times in their 51 years as a CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 7th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2055. In the last 10 seasons, the Outlaws have missed the playoffs 5 times. Calgary has won the Canadian Baseball League Championship 8 times in their history. |
