Rae Caps Memorable Season with CBL Most Valuable Player Award Honor Monday, May 9th , 2061
Not only has Tim Rae been named winner of the 2061 CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE Most Valuable Player Award, he's done it at an age when many of his peers are still trying to establish themselves in CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE.
"I feel fortunate to win this award at age 23," he said. "I feel like I still have my best years ahead of me. Hopefully I can put my name on this trophy a few more times."
The Montreal Royales ace had a 7-3 record over 12 starts and 72.1 innings. He struck out 86, issued 50 walks and had an impressive 2.36 ERA.
Batters hit only .202 against him during the season.

CBL's Best Pitcher is Rae Sunday, May 8th , 2061 Tim Rae of the Royales humbled hitters all season long and today celebrated as he hauled in the CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE Pitcher of the Year trophy, the coveted Cy Young Award.
The Montreal hurler held opposing hitters to a .202 batting average while putting up a 7-3 record and a 2.36 earned run average. He started 12 games, pitched 72.1 innings and struck out 86.
