Trois-Rivieres's Poapst Suspended for 3 Games Friday, March 24th , 2062 Brock Poapst of Trois-Rivieres got more than he bargained for when he was ejected for arguing a third strike call in yesterday's game against the Victoria Capitals. It turns out that the ejection wasn't the end of it. Today, the league decided to suspend Poapst for 3 games for his actions which included a rant filled with inappropriate language and throwing equipment on the field once he returned to the dugout. "Players need to show more restraint on the field," the league's announcement said. "Poapst obviously crossed the line and we had to take the proper action against him." Currently Poapst is hitting .188 and has collected 1 home run, 8 RBIs and scored 16 times, while playing in 29 games. |
