Wolverines Come up Short of Playoffs Monday, May 8th , 2062 A close finish won't make it any easier for the Michigan Wolverines to end their season early. The club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention for the 2062 season. "There were some things broken and some things said that are not repeatable," Wolverines manager Shane Saucier. The Wolverines have made the playoffs 4 times in their 51 years as a USA NCAA DIVISION I franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2060. In the last 10 seasons, the Wolverines have missed the playoffs 8 times. Michigan last won the NCAA College World Series in 2060. |
