Brinker Takes This Week's Trophy Monday, May 8th , 2062 Mike Brinker went on a week-long hitting streak against Rod Dedeaux League pitchers and captured the Player of the Week honors. The Long Beach State first baseman battered the opposition for 14 hits, 5 home runs, 16 RBIs and scored 8 runs. He hit .452 and posted a .553 on-base percentage.
