Adam Pieters Out for Season Friday, May 5th , 2062 The Michigan Wolverines and their fans were rocked today by the news that star second baseman Adam Pieters would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Pieters was hurt in a recent game against the Oklahoma Sooners while running the bases. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a severely strained hip muscle. His doctors think that Pieters will miss about 5 weeks. This season, Pieters is batting at a .370 clip with 21 home runs and 63 RBIs. |
