Rowdy Players Suspended by League Saturday, April 29th , 2062 If there wasn't a history between Kevin Deering of Oklahoma State and Ryan Keough of Oklahoma, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 3 and 7 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Deering said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." This year, Deering is batting .300 with 8 home runs. In 6 starts this season, Keough has recorded no wins and absorbed 1 loss. He has pitched 17.1 innings, allowed 27 hits, struck out 19 and has a 11.42 ERA. |
