Georgia Tech-Alabama Brawl, Perron and Atwood Suspended Sunday, April 16th , 2062 If there wasn't a history between Lance Perron of Georgia Tech and Devin Atwood of Alabama, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 3 and 7 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Perron said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." Batting .351 to date, Perron has 2 home runs and 9 RBIs. This season to date, Atwood has a record of 1 win and no losses with a 3.72 ERA, has appeared in 5 games and struck out 16 in 19.1 innings. |
