Miami-North Carolina Free-for-All Gets 4-Game Suspensions Thursday, April 6th , 2062 When fights happen, suspensions are not far behind. That axiom was held to be true today when Miami's Kaleb Prevost and North Carolina's Ayele Ayodele were given a temporary vacation from the game, courtesy of the league commissioner's office. They both were suspended for 4 games for their actions in a recent ruckus between the two teams. Both benches cleared when Prevost charged Ayodele. Both players have accepted their fate and will begin serving their suspensions immediately. Neither would talk to reporters about the confrontation. This season, Prevost has hit no home runs and posted a .236 batting average. This year, Ayodele has made 6 relief appearances with no saves. In 6.2 innings, he has permitted 12 hits, fanned 5 hitters and recorded 1 win and no losses with a 28.35 ERA. |
