Sycamores End Pulley Streak Tuesday, April 4th , 2062 Daniel Pulley, left fielder for the South Carolina Gamecocks, gave it a good try, but his time chasing history came to an end when he went hitless in 3 tries against the Indiana State Sycamores. Not only did the Sycamores break his 20-game hitting streak, they also beat South Carolina by the score of 9-7. "Now that the streak has ended, I can admit I'll breathe a bit easier the next time I step up to bat," Pulley said, speaking with the media after the game. "It was tough because I put a little pressure on myself. Now that it's over, I will definitely be a little bit looser at the plate." Pulley is currently hitting at a .390 pace with 5 home runs and 14 RBIs. |
