Brian Clark Drills 3 HR in One Game Monday, March 20th , 2062 It was a good day for the UCLA Bruins and an exceptional one for Brian Clark. The 19-year-old catcher sent three bombs out of the park to help the Bruins beat the California Golden Bears, 15-5, at Prisoners Ballpark. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Clark said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 4 times, drove in 9 runs and smacked 4 hits in 5 at-bats. Brian Clark hit a solo-shot off Rick Otten in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Rick Otten in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Ben Civale in the 8th. |
