Cyclones Travis Malinowski to Miss Year Monday, March 20th , 2062 The doctors have spoken and Travis Malinowski of the Iowa State Cyclones didn't like what he heard. The 19-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Malinowski sustained his season-ending injury during the Clemson Tigers game yesterday at Magistrates Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Iowa State medical staff reported Malinowski had a torn rotator cuff and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4 months. |
